Safety Clinics are designed to promote driving safety for new drivers and for those who may be interested in learning more about what makes a good driving horse, fitting and care of the harness, and selecting a horse-drawn vehicle. These are not held every year but as the demand allows. Watch for announcements.
Member clinics are held occasionally for experienced drivers who wish to improve their skills. Professional clinicians are brought in to give the clinics. Members can sign up to participate or audit the clinic. Watch for announcements.
DDC Spring ReStart Clinic
The DDC ReStart Clinic is a low-key, educational opportunity to help members learn more about the hows and whys of carriage driving. We have asked some of our local experienced club members to share their knowledge in a fun, relaxing and social day of learning. Presenters may have handouts to share, and sessions might be recorded.
Please bring:
- Chair
- Your own lunch (water and other beverages will be provided)
- Clothing appropriate for the weather.
- Payment for DDC membership if not a member already (DDC membership is required.)
- Any questions you have been pondering about carriage driving!
